We just concluded an evaluation of our billboard program and thought I would share with you our findings. Our results were pretty amazing. I wanted to respond to the question, "Is the billboard program working for us?" I can tell you from past experience we've used plenty of media vehicles to get our message out to our customers. These include newspaper, radio, coupon discounting, customer reward programs, and sponsorships to name a few. While some types of advertising work better than others, I really feel that our billboard program delivers the most effective results."

We were a little nervous about being so ostentatious with a billboard, because of the sensitive nature of our business, but decided to give it a try because of the encouragement from many of our families who had seen our competitor's billboards. We are very glad that we did. Never have we received the response from our newspaper or radio ads, but I'll bet I have heard something about our billboard every week since we started! We worked with Dusky and Christy to come up with a design that we all liked. They were very patient, understanding, and innovative coming up with several ideas before deciding on a finished product. We feel that this investment has been the best advertising dollars that we have spent, by far.

I had to let you know that the response from our corn maze billboard has been absolutely incredible! The first hour and half after the board was posted, we already sold the first batch of tickets and it hasn't stopped since then! On a scale of 1 through 10, I would give our response a 15!! I've been an avid billboard user for almost a year and seeing the value billboards offer, I expected it to be successful, but didn't expect this much of a successful response. I want to thank your entire team for this campaign and the creative ad. Great job to all of you and keep up the good work."
As far as cost, we felt the billboard was well worth its money. We cut another form of advertising from our budget and added this for the same amount and were more successful. In the past we have not advertised with a billboard and only reached approximately 800 people. We had over 1,200 attendees! Our aim was to reach out to at least 1,000 people. We owe a part of this success to the billboard that Kegerreis created."
We have been in business since 1975 and have done every kind of advertising there is, even sponsoring a hot air balloon wedding. I just wanted to take a minute to tell you how happy we are with our current billboard program. I've really gotten frustrated in the past number of years with advertising in general – especially in the newspaper!
I feel different about billboards. Everyone tells me, "Your ads are everywhere!" Little do they know I typically only have four! As we compete with Lowe's and the Home Depot's of the world, I can no longer afford to do advertising that isn't cost-effective or doesn't work. Well let me tell you… billboards work and they work without breaking the bank.
